MLMI 17 Advanced Computer Vision

Aims

This course explores recent advances in computer vision, with a focus on the foundational concepts that drive modern research.  We will cover a range of essential topics, such as representation learning, generative models, and 3D reconstruction, explicitly framed within the context of computer vision.

The aim is to equip students with both the theoretical grounding and practical intuition needed to understand cutting-edge research and begin contributing to novel research projects in the field.
