MLMI 16 Advanced Human-Computer Interaction

Aims

This module aims to prepare students for conducting research in human-computer interaction by exploiting the machine learning and machine intelligence expertise they have developed in other modules.

Objectives:

By the end of the module, students should be able to:

• Read and critique recent research papers in HCI.
• Formulate and motivate an HCI research problem.
• Design and implement an interactive system for evaluation.
• Plan and execute user studies.
• Analyse and report experimental results.
